Hi, I'm Sid,
I'm just a baby really. I have one baby tooth left to prove it.
I have been looking after my foster parents since I arrived in the rescue. I follow my foster mum everywhere because I absolutely adore company and hope one day to make someone an excellent companion.
I currently live with three cats and enjoy mixing with my doggie friends when I'm out and about. I like chasing the cat toys around. They have some fun stuff to play with.
I am mostly housetrained and am best when there is a clear routine in place that I can rely on.
My big issue is that I'm really, really worried by people. I am going to needs lots of ongoing help with this as my fearfulness makes me reactive to strangers and to sudden noises or gestures, even when I know the person.
I am going to need someone with plenty of time, who is understanding and patient and who will continue to encourage and guide me using positive reinforcement and counter conditioning.
When I'm feeling really brave I give foster mum and dad nose kisses. We all like that.
Because of my behavioral needs I don't feel ready for adoption yet, but I hope you'll come back and see me.
One day I hope to feel less worried and more like the puppy I should always have been. I know he's still in there somewhere.
