There are so many ways you can help
Donations are always welcomed but just as important is your time. The commitment does not have to be large and here are some of the ways:
Fostering
This is so rewarding and is such an important step between a dog coming into our care and being ready to be rehomed. A total love for, and understanding of, Chihuahuas is vital. Many of them are traumatised, some are abused and just need love, care and patience.
Homechecking
Is the home suitable for a Chihuahua - both the physical house and garden but also the energy in the home? This needs a person who is impartial, knows Chihuahuas (they can be escape artists!) to go along and meet and assess.
IT Support
As simple as helping our volunteers to setup their email accounts when we don't have the internal skills about doing it on iPhones vs Android for example.
Admin
No matter how much we try, there is still paperwork generated. Helping us to scan, file, complete this will help so much. It will not take much time with the right system in place.
Event Support
Being on the stand at shows, helping people with the questions and guiding them to the next steps. These are so important in getting the word out.
