Relinquish
We understand that it can be a difficult decision to rehome your Chihuahua and that people have lots of different reasons for doing so. We promise to work with you sensitively to ensure the best outcome for your Chihuahua or Chihuahuas.
We work with a UK wide network of verified volunteer fosterers so your Chihuahua will be placed straight into a home environment when it is officially taken into our care.
Whilst in foster we will assess your Chihuahua’s behaviour and medical needs in more depth to make sure we can find them the best possible match for their new home. Whilst in foster we can give you updates on how your dog is getting on.
Once your Chihuahua has found a new home though we won't be able to share any information about the new owners or their whereabouts for confidentiality reasons.
We are unable to accept any new relinquishments, as we are currently at full capacity.
We will update the website as soon as we are able to accept relinquishments again.
We need to ensure that the dogs currently in our care continue to receive the time, stability and support they need to find their forever homes.
If you find yourself in the difficult position of considering giving your dog up, we strongly recommend approaching other Chihuahua or small-breed rescue organisations for the time being.
