Volunteer

The British Chihuahua Rescue is run entirely by volunteers who all love and want the best for Chihuahuas.

We have lots of roles we need help with including fostering, homechecking, IT and admin support and fundraising and event support.

Apart from making the world a better place for these amazing little dogs there are lots of benefits for you too.

We are always incredibly grateful to people who want to volunteer with British Chihuahua Rescue, and we know how generous that offer of time and support is.

At the moment, our volunteer team is working at full capacity, and we are not able to process new volunteer applications as quickly as we would like.
For this reason, new registrations are currently on hold whilst we focus on supporting our existing volunteers and dogs in care.

Please be assured that this does not mean we are no longer looking for volunteers. We will update this page as soon as we are able to actively progress new applications again, and we truly appreciate your patience and understanding.
