Hi, my name is Theo,
I will follow you around to keep an eye on you. When you stop, I will stop. When you sit, I will sit.
I am a clever boy and a quick learner. I am watching you for lessons all the time.
I am currently mastering recall and I think I may be starting to understand what you mean when you say 'leave'.
In the past, being an able student, I learnt that an item, such as a sausage left laying about in its sandwich, was mine for the taking. Now, I suspect the word 'leave' could be connected to doing just that. Leaving the banger in its bun. Who knew. We live in strange times.
In my old life, I also learnt that you need to growl and snap if you feel worried or overwhelmed or if there's something you really value and don't want others to take away from you.
I am having to unlearn that now, cause apparently that's not ok.
I'll be the first to admit my training is going to take some time and for this reason my lovely foster mum thinks my perfect forever home should be dog and child free. With someone kind, who has patience. We all want that don't we.
My foster mum says I am doing really well. She calls me her 3kg feisty bundle of joy.
I've learnt that humans and Chihuahuas have differences. Humans don't like their weight used as a prefix when describing them. I catch on quick.
I think we have a bright future ahead of us. Get in touch soon.
