About
Hi, I'm Alfie.
I do find the world a very frightening place, but once I get to know someone I am very loving. If I feel safe with you, I'll be your forever shadow.
I find cats a bit challenging. There's one in my foster home who I bark at. Its always staring at me. Its very unsettling. My foster mum says that with some training and perseverance though, I might turn a corner and be able to live with one. If it was dog savvy.
Due to my anxieties I don't think I can cope with children and would prefer a home with adults only. Children can make pitchy noises and move quickly and all of a sudden. They're just not for me.
I would like to live with another well socialised dog. They could help me to build my confidence, and it would be amazing if they played with me. I love to play. I absolutely love my toys, especially my bunny.
I am a good boy and am currently sleeping downstairs overnight on my own and I'm clean in the house. I haven’t been out and about for a walk yet as foster mum says she doesn't want to overwhelm me. I'm still finding my feet really. Its been a lot.
I'm experimenting with being a fussy eater. Even though foster mum has gone to the effort of buying all the things I used to eat in my old home, I'm holding out. I'm hoping she'll give me some more of those sausages and chicken I scoffed when I first arrived.
Well, that's me. What else can I tell you? Get in touch with foster mum and hopefully we can meet in real life soon.
Ciao for now.
Alfie
