Hello, I’m Newb,
I’ve been settling into rescue life for a few weeks now, and I’m really starting to come into my own. I’ve had a full health check and I’m a healthy weight with a strong heart and lungs. I’m a sturdy little chap with broad shoulders and a gentle nature.
Right now, I’m building up my strength. I didn’t have much muscle tone when I arrived, but with good food and gentle exercise I’m already enjoying short play sessions and can manage steps that I couldn’t before. Every week I grow more confident and active.
I’m having a bit of extra care for my eyes, ears and teeth, and I’m being a real star about it all. I sit quietly for my drops and cleaning. I’m very easy to handle and always cooperative. My foster carers say I’m one of the quietest dogs they’ve had. I rarely bark and I take everything in my stride.
I’m also learning new skills. House training wasn’t something I’d been taught before, but with patience and encouragement I’m improving all the time. I sleep peacefully through the night and love curling up on the bed.
I’m currently living happily alongside cats and another dog, and I’ve shown I can adapt well to other animals with a bit of patience and routine.
I would thrive in a calm, steady home where someone is looking for a loyal, undemanding companion. I’d be a perfect match for someone who enjoys quiet company, gentle walks, and a dog who is happy to take life at a slower pace.
I’m ready for my next chapter, a home where I can continue to blossom and enjoy the love and comfort I deserve. I'm a gentle, calm good boy.
