About
Hi, we're Lilly and Luna.
We're looking for a specific living environment, ideally a residence with convenient garden access. We love wandering round the garden, but we currently prefer indoor settings and are not yet accustomed to leaving the spaces that we know.
We hope to adapt to the outdoors with consistent exposure and patience, but we're currently quite worried by the very thought of going out. Even if it meant being transported in a dog pram.
My name is Luna, I have a suspected congenital jaw deformity. This doesn't impede my ability to consume food. I am happy on a diet of raw food and small kibble, presented in a pyramid-shaped saucer. I'd like this to continue. I snaffle my meals within a crate to prevent food theft by Lilly. Lilly is inclined to consume all my food if given the opportunity.
I love a treat, but they must be of a small size. Despite these considerations, I'm a cheerful Chihuahua with an affable nature, and I enjoy physical affection, particularly cuddling in close proximity to my people.
I'm Lilly. I'm a very affectionate dog too. I take time, at first, to warm up to you, but the affection is well worth the wait. I tend to be shy for the first few weeks and prefer not to be picked up until I feel comfortable. Once I get to know you though I transform into the cuddliest of companions. I enjoy sitting on your lap or snuggling near your head on the sofa.
Both of us require a person or persons who are home for most of the time, as we do not enjoy being left alone. We are comfortable with other small dogs in the house. We may react cautiously to unfamiliar things, and we may bark at visitors entering the house, but we quickly settle down.
Our foster mum says we are truly delightful, and it has been a pleasure to meet us.
We're really excited about what the future holds.
Lots of love
Lilly and Luna
