Hi, we're Betsy and Bobbi.
I'm Betsy. I am the stunningly beautiful, long haired chi and Bobbi is my sister. She's the the fox-coloured smooth coat, with the cute curly tail and ears.
When we arrived in our foster home, we were very timid and scared of everything. We spent the first few days cuddled together in our basket, too afraid to leave for food. We didn't want to walk through doorways and needed lots of persuading to come indoors again, after going outside for the toilet.
We also didn't really know our names, but we are starting to respond to them now because the people here are so kind. They've been so patient and its helping us grow in confidence.
I tend to be the most confident out of the two of us. Wherever I go, Bobbi follows. I like to spend time every day grooming her because I enjoy looking after her. When we've got her hair how she likes it, we'll have a good play-fight together.
We are both wary of men, although our foster dad is fab. We have been spending our days following him around the garden helping to pull up the plants that have just been planted. We suspect he doesn't really know what he is doing, as he keeps planting them in the wrong place.
We're living with six other dogs at our foster home and feel quite comfortable with them. To be honest they're a bit boring, as they are mostly old and despite being invited to play, they just want to sleep. There's chickens and ducks here too, but we're not bothered about them as they can be a bit haughty.
We walk beautifully on the lead but can be reactive to strangers, especially men. Bobbi tends to walk on three legs holding her back, left leg off the ground when we're out and about. We're not sure why she does that cause she uses all four when we are at home. We tend not to mention it. She's going to get it checked out at the vet next week.
Our foster mum says we're the sweetest little dogs you could wish to meet. Our foster family are so lovely. We are very lucky to be settled here for a while, but we'd love to find our forever home.
We would ideally like to find a place where we could be the only dogs and have all of the attention and cuddles to ourselves.
