Hello, I’m Inka.
I’m three years old and currently living in Somerset, where I’ve been keeping rather busy!
I’m a clever, active little chap. I love my walks and absolutely live for learning. Give me something to do and I’m in – especially if there’s food, a toy or a bit of praise involved. My fosterer thinks I could have great fun trying dog sports, but I’d be just as happy with someone who enjoys long walks, teaching me tricks and finding other ways to keep my busy little brain occupied.
I may be small, but I have a pretty big personality. I bond quickly with my person and, once I know where I stand and am settled into a routine, my fosterer says I’m a super boy and really easy to live with.
I’m currently sharing my life with several other dogs and walking with them too. I can occasionally be reactive and I may try to guard things from another dog, so if I’m going to have a canine housemate, I need a human who understands introductions and is happy to manage that sensibly. A confident girl as a companion could suit me nicely.
I could live with children over 10 years and can spend up to four hours home alone. I’d love someone who understands Chihuahuas, although an experienced dog person who enjoys a strong little character would suit me too.
Really, I need someone who looks at a clever, busy, slightly opinionated little Chihuahua and thinks “Oh, we could have some fun together.”
