Hi everyone,
I'm Bambi on the left of the main picture. I'm ten years old. And this is my beautiful daughter Aura, on the right, who is nearly five. I don't know where that time has gone.
We came to our foster home a couple of weeks ago and we have tried to be good girls ever since.
For the first few days we didn't go anywhere unless it was together, but we've got more confident as we've settled and now we feel okay going outside by ourselves.
We have not had any accidents inside as we prefer to go to the toilet in the garden.
We love to cuddle with our foster mum, but there's not always enough space on her lap with the other dogs in the house. Rather than make a queue or bundle we are quite happy to lay on the sofa nearby.
If we go out for a walk, we are no bother. We walk along nicely, doing all the sniffs we can.
We both have a good appetite and will eat our dinner with great gusto.
We visited the vet recently and apparently we both have to have some teeth removed. Hopefully it wont be too many and will leave enjoyment of our meals unaffected.
We prefer to sleep downstairs and we sleep very soundly, but we're both early worms. We would ideally like our foster mum to get up earlier than she does.
We are friendly with everyone and happy to sit on visitors laps for an extra cuddle.
Aura is a funny little girl. She sits and chats to our foster mum, who laughs at her. Aura will only talk when mum looks away. She's a tiny little thing considering how much she likes to eat. She inherited that metabolism from her father.
We are currently living with three other dogs, but we would prefer for it to be just the two of us in our forever home. Sometimes all the noise and business with the others can make us feel a bit grumpy.
There were children in our previous home , but we'd much rather be in a quieter home. We enjoy the peaceful life. It suits us well.
Having said that, at the moment, we're enjoying a bark in the garden to let the two big German shepherds behind us know what's been happening. We're keen to take an active part in the local community like that.
Overall our foster mum says we are a pair of sweethearts. If you fancy us coming to live with you, we promise to give you lots of love and kisses in return for your hospitality.
