If I was to write my own personal ad I'd say 'pocket-sized queen seeks dedicated companion.'
Yeah, that's me. I'm a stunning 6 year old Chihuahua Cross who is ready to offer a lifetime of snuggles to her perfect person. At six, I'm past the puppy chaos and am in my prime. I'm loving, house-trained, and a gentle soul when I'm with the people I trust. I can be wary of strangers though.
My greatest desire is to be your one and only. I'm an absolute cuddle-bug and thrive on human attention. I am happiest curled up on the sofa beside you or following you from room to room. If you're looking for an incredibly loyal, devoted, and gentle best friend, I'm your girl.
I can be victim to a bit of a jealous streak which is actually connected to me feeling super anxious that you might leave me or be stolen away by another. For this reason I will do best in an adult-only home where I can soak up all the affection without having to share.
I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that I can be reactive to other dogs while out on walks. This means I need an owner who is committed to positive reinforcement training and who will be comfortable managing me on a leash. I would be happiest in a home where there is someone around most of the time, and where I'm the only pet for aforementioned reasons. I would prefer quiet, consistent walks in less crowded areas.
My ideal home would be:
Experience preferred - A person with some experience managing small-dog reactivity would be a great match.
A quiet oasis - A calm, predictable home environment with no other pets (dogs or cats), with a garden to play and toilet in.
Loyalty in return - Someone who values a devoted companion and understands that my big personality sometimes needs clear, consistent guidance.
If you are looking for a loyal, warm, and loving companion to share your home and heart with and don't mind a little bit of sass when another dog is around, I am waiting to be your forever Queen!
I have no health issues, am speyed and up to date on all my vaccinations and flea/worming treatments. Oh and my teeth are in good condition.
Be aware I am a larger Chihuahua. If you like teeny weenies, I'm not your girl. I'm very proud that I'm 12 inches to my shoulder when sitting and 16 inches to the top of my head.
