Hi I'm Chico.
I am your typical chihuahua, small but mighty. I am full of character and have a lot of thoughts and opinions which I share.
I came from a home where I was the only dog, but I've really enjoyed hanging out and playing with my foster sister. She's been so much fun.
I quite like the cat too, truth be told.
I am very playful with my toys, as well as my foster family. I'm just a baby really and can get quite boisterous with my play. For this reason I'm not suited to a home where there's small children with little hands.
I am clean and fully toilet trained.
I do love a walk but pull a little on my lead in my excitement to get places. I will need some more training with this and with recall as I'm currently not reliable.
I find stairs a bit confusing and don’t jump well but my foster mum is working on this with me.
I am very food motivated so theoretically training should be easy.
I'm wary of new people to start with and need slow introductions to prevent me from becoming overwhelmed but managed sensitively, I soon come round.
I sleep downstairs in my own bed as this is what I am used to. I'm an independent little soldier.
