Hi, I’m Milo.
I’m a 9 year old friendly boy with a fluffy coat and a big personality to match. I’m a bit bigger than your average Chihuahua (Mum used to say some of our relatives might have been Pomeranian), which just means there’s more of me to cuddle.
I absolutely love being brushed — it’s one of my favourite things — and I’m a big fan of my food too! I do like my meals to be my own though, so I’d prefer people not to take things away from me while I’m eating.
I enjoy my walks and will happily let you know when it’s time to go out and about — especially in the evening when I’d much rather head out for a mini adventure rather than visit the garden. I’m clean in the house and use the garden well, especially with a little encouragement or the promise of a biscuit!
I live with two other older Chihuahuas at the moment and enjoy a little game with them now and then. I’m also friendly with visitors — I might have a bark when you first arrive, but I soon settle.
I’m very chatty, which sounds a bit growly, especially when my lead comes out. I love sitting on laps, snoozing on the sofa (especially tucked between your legs), and I currently sleep upstairs, although I’ve recently discovered that beds — especially warm ones — are even better…
I can manage the stairs going up, but coming down need a bit of encouragement. I’ve been in the car and can be a little unsure at first, but I cope just fine.
I do have a heart murmur, but the vet says I’m doing well and don’t need medication at the moment. I’ll also be having my teeth cleaned sonically soon to keep me feeling my best.
I’ve settled in really nicely over the past few weeks and I’m now ready to find a loving home where I can enjoy company, comfort, and all the little routines that make me feel safe and happy.
