Hello, I’m Foxy.

I’m a 12 year old long-haired sable gentleman and if you’re looking for a loyal little shadow with a big heart, I might just be your person.

My favourite place in the world is absolutely going to be your lap. I’m very much a people’s dog and love being close to my person. I currently live with other dogs and cope just fine, but if I’m honest, I’d happily swap them all for a cosy sofa and someone to call my own.

I’m a very easy little chap to have around. I’m house trained, I eat well (food is one of lifes delights!), I walk nicely on the lead, and I travel brilliantly. I also settle well at night and sleep happily in my crate upstairs. Day to day, I’m quite unbothered by life. Nothing much fazes me and I take things in my stride.

I do have one little quirk. I’m not keen on being picked up and might have a little grumble about it, but I do calm down quickly. I also prefer not to be left alone for long periods, as I like company and I travel well, so why not just invite me along with you.

You might also like to know I’m an excellent pub dog—I’ll sit on your lap, wagging my tail and charming everyone I meet. I really do love being part of whatever you’re doing.

I have recently been diagnosed with a heart murmur (grade 3/4), and I’ve started medication for this. I’m doing really well and improving every day, so I’m hoping to find a home that will continue to support me with my medication and enjoy all the love I have to give.

I’m a gentle, affectionate little soul who’s just looking for a lap, some companionship, and a place to call home for my golden years.
