Hi friends,
I am a heart breaker and a bit of a mischief maker.
I know exactly where the treats are kept. You cannot hide them from me. I will jump like a cricket or bore my eyes into your soul to win one.
I regularly have a crazy half hour and like to zoomy around the house and garden, please step out of my way. Unless you are in possession of a squeaky toy or ball, then of course join in.
Slippers and socks are not safe.
I like to meet new people, but I don't like loomers. You now the sort. The ones that go in to touch your head when you haven't said they can. I much prefer to give consent before I'm touched thank you. Please let me approach first.
I can be noise sensitive - that thunderstorm the other night didn't bother me, but did you hear that plant pot falling over in the garden yesterday? I think they probably heard that in Japan!
I'm good on the lead, but may pull to the nearest lampost or tree. Who doesn't love the gossip on the peevine?
I do get hungry. I love my food. I will scavenge. I am not ashamed. I am learning to 'leave it', but if you're not quick enough, you're not having it. I will guard food, toys and people.
I lack any respect for personal space, if I want to sit on your lap, I will climb over anything in my way to get to you. And then we will smooch because I love cuddles.
I would happily spend hours having my belly rubbed. Once you have my trust I will never leave you. You will be my bestie for life.
My foster mum is teaching me lots of new things. Apparently sitting on the dinning room table is not ok.
Some other stuff you might want to know. I might be able to live with a confident cat as I do pester them a little. I find them so alluring. No small children. I don't mind other dogs when I'm out and about but I'd prefer to be the only dog as I am an attention sponge.
I need to meet someone who will enjoy continuing my training and be consistent, patient and kind. I'm still just a baby really and its already been quite the ride. I will benefit greatly from the long term stability of having somewhere to call my own.
I can be high energy, mischievous and excitable but also love being carried, cuddled and whispered to.
