Hello, I’m Kevin.
I’m a small Chihuahua with a big personality and a very soft heart. I’m currently in foster care, where I’ve settled in well and am enjoying being someone’s constant little companion while I wait for my forever home.
I’m a people dog. I love being close to my humans and will happily follow you around the house like a tiny shadow. A warm lap is one of my favourite places to be, especially once I know and trust you.
On walks, I can be vocal towards other dogs and strangers and I do have a stubborn streak when I’ve decided where I want to go. With calm handling and patience I’m learning to manage this better and I respond well to kindness and consistency. Walks are important to me. I like to take my time sniffing to catch all the news and I prefer to toilet while out rather than in the garden.
Food-wise, I’m highly motivated by treats (dried duck is a clear winner in my eyes) and this helps when building trust and confidence. Once I feel secure, I'll be your best friend forever.
I’d suit a quiet, loving home where my humans understand small dogs and are happy to go at my pace. I don’t need a lot, just patience, reassurance, and affection. I could live with other friendly, small dogs, but I’d also be very happy soaking up all the attention as an only dog.
I’m gentle, quietly funny in that Chihuahua way and full of heart. Once you’re mine, I’ll make it very clear how much you mean to me. I’m ready to be someone’s much-loved little companion. Get in touch soon and lets make it happen.
