Hello, my name’s Bob.
I’m a smooth-haired Chihuahua, not one of the teeny-tiny ones. I’ve got a bit more leg, a lot of personality, and I’m two years old, so just a baby really. I’m a happy, playful boy with a zest for life and special love for my person.
Once I’ve chosen you, I’m incredibly loyal, affectionate, and very cuddly. I love snuggling up with my human and being close to them. I can live with other dogs if they respect my space, but honestly, I’d be just as happy as the only dog, where I can soak up all the love for myself.
I’m very foody (a huge plus for training!). I already know how to sit and wait, and I love games where I have to sniff out food hidden under my toys. I’m up for any scent-work challenge. I also enjoy playing and will happily fetch, especially if there’s a treat involved afterwards.
I didn’t see much of the outside world early on, but I’m doing brilliantly now. I enjoy my daily walks, all the exciting smells, and I especially love zooming around the garden afterwards. I used to be nervous around traffic, but I’m much more confident now and I’m fine travelling in the car.
I settle down quickly into a routine and I’m clean in the house. I do form very strong bonds and can be protective of my chosen person, so I’m looking for an understanding home where someone will continue to build my confidence and help me feel secure. I can be wary of unfamiliar people at first, particularly in my home, but with calm handling, guidance, and time I learn and settle.
I’m now neutered, vaccinated, and the vet was very impressed with my teeth. No dental issues here!
My foster mum says I’m a fun, bright, affectionate boy, and she’s not wrong. If you’re looking for a loyal, active little companion who thrives on connection and will give his whole heart to his person, I could be your Bob.
