Meet our current pack of love bugs and see if your next best friend or friends are amongst them. Our Chihuahuas, which includes Chihuahua crosses, come into our care for a variety of reasons but they all need love.

About

Hi, I’m Cheech.

I’ve not long been in foster and I’m still settling in, so I’m not quite ready for adoption yet. I’ll need a bit of time, while I have some vet treatment and work on building my confidence and trust.

Right now, I’m hanging out with my foster mum and trying to be peaceful and calm. Well, mostly. I’m still Cheech after all.

I’m a very beautiful and loving little girl. I just need patience and understanding. I can be quite protective of my people and get scared when strangers come too close, especially in the house. I’m working on it, though. Once I trust you, I absolutely adore fuss, belly rubs and snuggles.

I get along fine with the other Chihuahuas in my foster home and I’m okay with cats too. I’m up to date on vaccinations, but I still need a dental and can’t be spayed just yet. And no surprises here, I’m not a big fan of the vet.

Because I need a little extra support and some time to warm up to new people, it would be ideal to have a few meet and greets before adoption. My foster mum thinks that’s best and she’s usually right.
