Hello, we're Luna and Rocco.
We're a bonded pair of 11 year old Chihuahuas looking for a loving retirement home where we can enjoy our golden years together. These days, we're all about the simple pleasures in life – cosy laps, gentle cuddles, tasty food and spending time with our favourite people.
I'm Luna, the fawn girl, and Foster Mum says I'm the more confident one of the two. I like to know what's going on and I'm not shy about asking for attention when I think it's due. A gentle nudge with my nose is usually all it takes to remind people that fuss should be directed my way.
Rocco is a handsome little chap with a gentle nature who loves being close to his people. He has a heart murmur, which means he takes medication twice a day hidden in cream cheese. I try not to look jealous, but I do keep a close eye on the cream cheese situation.
As for me, I have pancreatitis, so I need a low-fat diet to keep me feeling my best. It's well managed, and Foster Mum has been helping me gain a little weight with some tasty new food and extra chicken after the vet said I was a bit of a skinny Minnie. I'm feeling much brighter for it.
We both adore human company and would love a home where we can be treasured members of the family. We're happiest curled up beside our people, enjoying a cuddle, a head scratch and a peaceful snooze. If you're looking for two loyal little companions to share your sofa and your heart, we could be the pair for you.
Before we go, there's one more thing I should confess. At 11 years old, I've largely left drama behind me, although I do still enjoy having a good bark at Pete Wicks whenever he appears on the television. Whether it's admiration or outrage, I'm not telling. A girl is allowed one celebrity crush, after all.
