Hello, I’m Bambi.

I’m a 14 year old Chihuahua looking for a lovely home where I can enjoy my golden years.

I’m a gentle little person who has perfected the art of the afternoon nap. Give me a warm blanket, a sunny spot on the floor or, even better, a cosy lap and I’m very happy indeed. I still have my energetic moments too, including some rather impressive zoomies around the house.

One of my favourite times of day is when my person comes home. That’s when my happy dancing feet appear - I’ll treat you to your very own little Chihuahua tap dancing show, complete with a waggy tail.

I’m completely deaf, so I need someone who understands that I experience the world a little differently. For example, I can be startled if I’m suddenly woken, so I’ll need a calm, considerate approach and a quiet household where people understand my needs.

I enjoy getting out and about and usually have two to four walks of around 20–30 minutes each day. Sometimes my little legs get tired and I need to be picked up for a short rest. Because I’m deaf, I must always stay on lead when we’re out.

I can live with children aged 10 and over and I like cats. I can also live with another dog, although I wouldn’t be suited to a young, lively companion. An older, calm Chihuahua could be a good match for me.

I’m looking for a home with one or two people with Chihuahua experience. I can be left for around one to two hours, but I’m very fond of company, cuddles and having a lap to curl up on so please don't be gone for too long.

I’m currently fostered in Hampshire, RG27, and you’ll need to be able to come and meet me twice before I know you're the right match for me.
